About Leslie Hernandez 

Leslie Hernandez is the founder and CEO of Leslie Hernandez Artistry. She has been a noteworthy leader in the beauty industry for over 18 yrs.  Her career started when she joined her local MAC Cosmetic counter team as a part time freelancer. Leslie not only honed her skills with this team but she also stepped into a management position, which she held for 7 years. Her passion for makeup was only increased as she spent time with and trained alongside the phenomenal trainers at MAC who themselves where working with celebrity clients and brands. 

 

 

Passion does not settle, and neither does Leslie.  She knew her time at MAC was one of preparation for the leap into entrepreneurship. She took that leap about four years ago as she branched out and became a professional makeup artist.  Since than she has dipped her toes into just about every arena of makeup that she could.  She has done everything from high fashion, music videos, album covers, bridal, theater, haunted houses, commercials and a full-length film.  The vastness of makeup fuels the creativity that burns inside of her. She would say the one thing she loves about makeup is that it is never the same.  It is always unique to the specific project. 

 

Leslie has a relentless drive, and an immense love for people, which allows her to work and communicate well with many different personalities.  She values visions and carries respect and responsibility as the core of who she is and the business she is creating.  Makeup is not simply a career but a creative passion.
